By reading Set Theory Records, you are agreeing to the plain understanding below. It is short on purpose.

The writing is opinion

Everything here is the view of the people running the label, based on our own experience making records. Gear behaves differently in different rooms and different hands. Treat our recommendations as a starting point, test things yourself, and do not blame us if a plugin we liked does not click for you.

Our work stays ours

The posts, photos, and any audio we host are ours unless we say otherwise. Quote us, link to us, share a post with a friend, all fine. Republishing whole articles as your own is not. Brand names and gear mentioned in the posts belong to their makers, not to us.

Affiliate links

Some links to hardware or software are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy through them. It costs you nothing extra and it never changes what we recommend. If we say a machine is worth it, that is because we think it is, not because of a payout.

Comments and conduct

Keep comments about the music and the gear. Spam, abuse, and self promotion get removed, and we can close a thread whenever we want.

We publish in good faith but make no guarantees that the blog is always accurate, complete, or online. We may edit or take down posts at any time, and we are not liable for anything that happens because you acted on something you read here.
